The Rose Lineage Resurrection Rites

Beloved Rose Sister / Brother

This Good Friday and Holy Saturday forms the most powerful portal through which to rebirth ourselves and our global community through the Resurrection Rites of the Rose Lineage.

The Easter Paschal Mystery of Yeshua is founded on our ancestors’ most ancient Palaeolithic Lunar Myth of the descent of the waning moon into the dark void and its reappearance in the night skies after 3 days. This original myth of descent and rebirth was then amplified by the Bronze Age Ancient Mesopotamian reverence of the Venus Cycle with Her 7 waning moons and 7 waxing moons which inspired the Myth of the Descent of Inanna-Ishtar. This concept was then manifested in physical form through the 7-level labyrinths of Ancient Egypt and Crete, with evidence of 7 women and 7 men co-creating a spiral dance through which to enact the descent/death and ascent/rebirth.

The sacrifice of the Sun-Son King and, later, the sacrifice of the Bull as the embodiment of the Sun-Son King, to ensure the regeneration of life on earth and the fertility of the land, weaves its way through the rituals and myths of the Rose Lineage cultures from Sumerian Inanna-Dumuzi, Babylonian Ishtar-Tammuz, Canaan Baal-Anath, Egyptian Isis-Osiris, Greek Demeter-Persephone, Roman Cybele-Attis and Venus-Adonis to Magdalene-Yeshua.

Walking the 7 Labyrinth Levels with my Father last Easter

These ancient Resurrection Rites of the Rose Lineage flowed down the millennia to become the foundation for this weekend’s Easter Rites of Yeshua’s death and resurrection.

I have been working consciously with the Rose Lineage Resurrection Rites for nearly 30 years and guiding people through them for over a decade. This year, as our global community moves through a death initiation into the co-creation of a new Path of Love, I am being guided to offer these Resurrection Rites on behalf of The Glastonbury Gnostic Chapel.

We will be meeting via Zoom on Good Friday at 20:00 BST to descend the 7 Stations of the Cross with Yeshua and Magdalene, which are inspired by the 7 Gates of Venus-Inanna-Ishtar and the 7 Levels of the Labyrinth.

We will meet again via Zoom on Holy Saturday at 20:00 BST when traditionally the Easter Vigil begins after sundown with the lighting of the Paschal Candle after we have ascended the 7 Gates and re-birthed ourselves, our global community and the Earth into a new state of being founded in the love, compassion, mutual respect and support that is embodied in the Sacred Marriage of Magdalene and Yeshua.

As an expert in the Western Mystery Tradition and an Avalon Rose Priestess, I have been following a Gnostic path for over 30 years.
Founding The Glastonbury Gnostic Centre & Chapel on Beltane 2018 was the culmination of 25 years of academic research and embodied experience on my path of gnosis, or ‘individuation’, through the repeated archetypal descent and ascent of my Soul:
as a child with my grandfather, Grand Master of a Masonic Lodge, who inspired my fascination with the Ancient Egyptian mysteries and my Gnostic bloodline

during my BA degree, when I was studying the Greek Myths and Medieval Mystics, and first asked the question “Why is God male?”

in my early twenties through my devotion to Mother Mary and the Black Madonna whilst living in Southern Italy

during my MSc degree & PhD research, when I specialised in Paganism, Gnosticism and Christianity, looking at how patriarchal religion appropriated and manipulated pagan and Gnostic mythology in order to control women in society

my initiation onto the Rose Path of Sophia-Magdalene in 1999 through the birth of my daughter Sophia Mary with a rare syndrome, requiring life-saving surgery at birth and 11 further operations, which led us repeatedly on the Descent of the Soul into the cave of Sophia, Black Goddess of Wisdom, and our rebirth back into Her light

the 9 year cycle of the writing and publication in 2009 of my Gnostic novel The Serpent’s Tale, which is set in the village of Santa Sofia in sixteenth century Italy at the time of the witch-burnings, and reclaims the role of Priestess of Sophia

my Priestess path on the sacred Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury since 2000, working with the Celtic deities of Brigit’s Isles as Priestess of Avalon with The Glastonbury Goddess Temple, and personally with the Rose deities Sophia, Christ, Magdalene, Yeshua, Mary, Archangel Michael and Brigit as Rose Priestess of Sophia-Magdalene
the birth of my Beltane daughter Jasmine in 2003 which catalysed me into a deeper level of Sophianic descent and ascent through my recovery journey from trauma and addiction
my extensive work as a transpersonal therapist, coach & workshop-retreat facilitator in the private, corporate and voluntary sectors since 2006
my pilgrimages to the Rose Lineage sacred site of Mount Sinai on my 35th birthday in 2007 and my 40th in 2012, and to Sinai for my 50th in 2023
the birth of my severely disabled son Zac in 2009, 2 years to the exact date and hour that I arrived at the summit of Mount Sinai in 2007

my initiation into a further 9 year cycle of repeated Sophianic descent and ascent through nursing Zac on the bridge between life and death, including resuscitating him several times a day for months

the launch on Beltane 2018 of The Glastonbury Gnostic Centre & Chapel, marking the end of the sacred 19 year cycle from my daughter Sophia Mary’s birth and the 9 year cycle from my son Zac’s birth
Due to the pandemic, I was forced to close the premises in Glastonbury, but in 2021, I was blessed to purchase a Grade II Listed Chapel on one of the islands in the Great Lake of Avalon.
The Avalon Rose Chapel® now has its home here on the Glastonbury Zodiac’s Isle of the Dog and beneath the Dog Star Sirius, and is available to hire for retreat groups of up to 12 guests.
I trust that all the challenges we have survived have given me the strength, wisdom and compassion to be conscious of leading from a place of truth, humility and integrity.
And to use all the gifts I have gained from my journey to guide others on their own path of gnosis through the Avalon Rose Lineage teachings.
