I headed to London yesterday to take Zac to Great Ormond Street Hospital to see his surgeon who was very pleased with how his new smile is progressing.

Afterwards, he had to be photographed and videographed trying to pull lots of different facial expressions. He could only manage a couple as his face is paralysed from his mouth upwards.

It was heart-breaking to listen to the photographer say “now purse your lips, blow out your cheeks, raise your eyebrows”, all of which Zac desperately tried to do and of course was unable to.

Watching him try so hard and then have to cope with how it felt to not be able to, to be reminded of his difference, his seeming “inadequacy”, was very challenging to witness as a mother.

It reminded me of the lion’s strength we all need when we have to accept and become reconciled to our seeming limitations in life. The strength it takes to look beyond the surface “limitation” to find the gift shining deep within the darkness of the shadow experience.

Here is my beautiful son finding his roar in front of the Egyptian Rose Lion Goddess Sekhmet and one of the lions who embodied Ishtar, Rose Queen of Babylonia, in her aspect of Warrior Goddess and guarded her Temple, along with two of his favourite cubs – my Goddess-son Torben and his sister Isla.

Whilst their mother – my beloved priestess soul-sister Alexandra, whose Priestess of Avalon Training I assisted back in 2004, who I hand-fasted in 2013 and who is now training as a Rose Priestess of Sophia-Magdalene with me – and I did some ninja-priestessing at the British Museum with the lion goddesses of the Rose Lineage.

It is this lion energy that we are still riding on in these two weeks since the Lion’s Gate Portal closed and which we will be working with tonight live at my Rose Moon Webinar.
