Today’s Full Moon in Gemini at 09:29 GMT is a penumbral lunar eclipse, ending a 6-month cycle that began during our last solar eclipse on 22 May 2020, and beginning a new eclipse cycle that lasts until the lunar eclipse on 26 May 2021.

So this is a powerful portal through which to review the last 6 months and to sew our seeds of intent for the next 6 months.

The lunar eclipse is activating the axis between the fixed stars Aldebaran in the Eye of the Bull Taurus and Antares in the Heart of the Scorpion, mirroring the axis on my Philosophia Wheel of the Year between Beltane (Taurus) and Samhain (Scorpio), which I’ve been working with so deeply with my Queens’ Round Table teachings on Venus-Aphrodite as Goddess of Love and War, Joy and Pain, Peace and Conflict.

One cannot exist without the other. They are not a Duality but a Sacred Union.

I love interpreting the astrology of the Lunar and Venus Cycles in relation to the Cycles of the Rose and Avalonian Lineages, and my own lived, embodied experience as a Rose Priestess of Avalon consciously walking my Soul’s path.

Since the last Samhain Full Moon, which I spent in Sicily, I have been in a deep process, journeying in the Underworld through the Morgana Devotional with my Sister Queen Holly, my Avalon Rose Priestess Training workshop with Lilith and Morgan le Fey, and my immersion into the Mysteries of Venus-Aphrodite.

All these goddesses embody similar archetypal energies and one of the most important lessons they teach us is to love ourselves and our bodies, and to harness our sexual power as a force of Nature – the exact energy that patriarchal society and religion tried to destroy.

Having been working at an even deeper level of healing my Sacral Chakra and honouring my Lover Self, I ended up in hospital for 3 days last week as my body began to release at a cellular level the old traumas that lie beneath past shadow beliefs and behaviours, which are no longer serving me in my renewed Love for Self and Others.

With this Full Moon Eclipse occurring during the 4th Gate of Descent in the Venus Cycle, the Heart Chakra, which is intrinsically linked to the Sacral Chakra – I feel we are being given an opportunity energetically to purge through our bodies any internalised thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are not emanating from a place of love for ourselves and others.

What do you NOT want to take forward with you from the last 6 months and what would you like the next 6 months of your life to feel like, especially in relation to your spiritual and sexual love for Self and Others?

Allow the energies of this Full Moon Eclipse to release any shadow emotions and relationships that have not been serving you during the last 6 months, and spend some time in retreat, indulging in deep self-care and self-love rituals.

You are absolutely worthy of being loved for who you are, in all your shadow and light aspects, and of course that starts with loving yourself. The more we love ourselves, the more we attract love into our lives.

So release, release, release to prepare the fertile earth then plant your seeds of love and hope for the coming 6 months.
