On this day, the ‘Immaculate Conception’ of Mother Mary is celebrated by the Catholic Church.

But the original idea of the ‘Immaculate Conception’, before patriarchal religion appropriated and manipulated it to mean ‘free from original sin’, stems from the Divine Mother’s power (and therefore our own) to continually rebirth Herself and all of Life as independent Creatrix.

In my Rose Priestess of Sophia-Magdalene Training, we reclaim Mary as the original Virgin Mother Creatrix, a theme I explored in-depth in my MSc degree thesis ‘Women’s Rites: A Comparison of Goddess Thealogy and Feminist Theology’.

Applications are open to join me on my Rose Lineage Priestess and Practitioner Trainings 2020-21 to peel back the layers of patriarchy and discover the original teachings of the Gnostic Goddesses and the Rose Lineage.

Mother Mary, we honour you as Virgin in that you were beholden to no-one but yourSelf, as Immaculate in that you needed nothing and no-one other than your own innate power to create, birth and make manifest.

We recognise that we all carry the ability of the Virgin Creatrix to continually rebirth ourselves out of the darkness and into the light of Sophia, especially at this time of journeying through Venus-Inanna’s Second Gate of Ascent with our Sacral Chakra and Inner Creatrix.

Blessed be to Mother Mary, Virgin Creatrix
