In honour of Mary Magdalene on this Her Feast Day, I am sharing Her words from Her own Gospel of Mary…
21) The soul answered and said, What binds me has been slain, and what turns me about has been overcome,
22) and my desire has been ended, and ignorance has died.
Teachings that are perfectly aligned with the energies of the Venus Cycle today, where we currently find ourselves in the Underworld, at the point of release, of letting go all that no longer serves us.
It is in this Cave of the Black Goddess Sophia, who Magdalene embodies in human form, where they ask us to release all binds, attachments, internalised belief systems and behaviours that are not in alignment with our Soul’s Path.
It is here that they ask us to become conscious of those things that turn us away from our Soul’s Path, our procrastinations and distractions that have their roots in fear and lack of trust.
It is in the darkness of this Underworld that they ask us to release all illusion of false desires, those things that our ego turns to as a way of self-soothing so as to protect us from the potential pain of feeling and healing our Shadow emotions.
And it is here that they ask us to awaken to our own Soul’s Wisdom as they shine their light of divine Wisdom upon us.
On this day of honouring Mary Magdalene, may we make a commitment to releasing all those things that keep us from opening our hearts fully and allowing Her love, compassion and wisdom to flow through us for the good of all.
