After the last few days of being deeply triggered in my fear trauma around my disabled children dying, whilst preparing to self-isolate with them, it was just what my Soul needed to escape to the wilds of Tintagel and St Nectan’s Glen for a Rose-Druidic pilgrimage of purification and prayer.
Fear of losing your loved ones is a realistic response to a threat such as the coronavirus, especially if they are vulnerable like my disabled children and elderly parents.
It’s not something we can spiritually bypass by telling ourselves not to give in to fear.
I find it more useful to give myself full permission to feel the fear, the terror, and then channel that fear into taking positive action steps, such as preparing to self-isolate.
In my case, this didn’t just involve buying provisions, but making sure I have enough oxygen cylinders and medication to nurse my disabled children.
Along with taking positive action, purification on a mind-body-soul level is fundamental in reaction to this threat and our fear response.
Purification of the body and building up our strength and immunity through eating anti-viral, immune boosting foods is as important as the purification of our mind and soul through prayer, meditation and spiritual practice such as yoga.
Connecting to the Divine, our Soul, our guides and the angels, can help us to feel supported and protected, and to trust and surrender to our Soul’s journey and that of our loved ones.
Allow yourself to flow between the energies of the Winter Solstice (the Soul/trust) and the Summer Solstice (the Ego/fear) on my Philosophia Wheel of the Year, for they are both as valid in your experience as a Soul living your life on Earth as a Human Being.
Holding us all in my prayers yesterday at two powerful Rose-Druidic sacred springs of purification and protection.
With all my love & blessings
